The Lead CA/RC team is looking to add one member to their team. This job posting is for internal candidates only.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain all previously established tasks & responsibilities as identified in the Clinical Assistant Recovery Coach job description.
2. Aid in the development & training of all new CARC hires.
3. Routinely offer hands-on training to the CARCs to assist with stronger understanding of tasks & responsibilities.
4. Assist in development of coping techniques & coaching strategies with possible symptoms & challenges that may be displayed on the residential unit.
5. Lead by example displaying perspective to see multiple angles, focus on strength-based approaches, & solution-oriented mindset.
6. Meet with the Residential Clinical Team every other month in order to promote effective communication and coordination & collaboration.
7. Developing Residential CARC meeting content & focus with unit coordinator and branch out to facilitate with CARCs.
8. Develop team rotation for back up coverage as needed for transition specialist, intake coordinator, CARC schedule, group coverage, and other associated tasks.
9. Train with the Residential Clinical Team to aid in unanticipated transition planning as needed on evenings & weekends.
10. Be involved with oversight of Recovery Coach Grant Program to include various tasks as applicable to ensure overall goals & measurables are met.
11. Become active in agency workgroups to provide perspective from the Residential CARC Team.
12. Engage in professional development in order to maintain work growth & enhance the elements of the program.
13. Offer assistance with the development and oversight of unit wide group activities. Be responsible for one quarterly activity per year.
14. Keep supplies and materials organized for the residential program. Complete off-site purchases of supplies and materials as needed for the residential program.
15. Perform other duties as encouraged & assigned by the Unit Coordinator and/or the Residential Clinical Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Understanding of the field of behavioral health issues is required.
2. Past supervisory experience is recommended, however not required.
3. Understanding of the mission of Prairie Ridge and patients we work with.
4. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to work directly with patients and provide accurate verbal and written reports to clinical and administrative staff.
6. Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in use of an electronic health record.
7. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is often required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance.
8. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
9. Medication Manager Credentials.
10. Peer Recovery Coach Certification is preferred.
11. Must be currently working at 30-hour capacity per week with willingness to move into a Fulltime position.
12. Must have job experience in our Residential Program, preferably as a CARC.
