Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Work within the IT department and manage the lifecycle of software applications as well as software and systems upgrades. Plan out which software applications are needed for smooth business operations and supervise the installation and daily maintenance of those applications, as well as the associated network and hardware installations. This role is responsible for managing software applications for all business units. They assess stakeholder process requirements and identify application solutions keeping an awareness of the latest software development and how it can make business more efficient and successful.
Through collaboration with the technical services manager, this leader will ensure infrastructure is ready prior to system implementations and carefully monitor the rollout process of software applications. Provide systems-related technical support and problem resolution by reviewing issues and providing relevant solutions. Create, develop, and oversee processes and procedures for usage once standards have been established. The Applications Manager will manage, direct, and support deployment, maintenance, and other services related to the software applications used within the organization.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Information Systems, Computing, or related field required, Master’s degree preferred. Substantial experience in Information Systems, with successful experience managing major, complex applications development projects.
