Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Overview:

Prairie Barns Construction LLC is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves actively seeking out and engaging customer prospects in the field, providing comprehensive solutions based on our range of construction services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Customer Engagement:

  • Conduct field sales activities to attract new clients, including visits to potential sites and engaging in community events.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and proposing customized solutions.

2. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Analyze the market's potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the construction industry.

3. Reporting and Administration:

  • Submit sales reports, detailing activities, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Maintain client records using automated systems.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure client requirements are met.

5. Client Relationship Management:

  • Resolve client complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience in field sales, particularly in the construction or related industry.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
