Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Scribe/Medical Receptionist, to join our team Full-Time at our busy Gastroenterology Practice.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in real-time, including medical history, vitals, medications and treatment plans in the patients EMR chart as the provider sees the patient.
- Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, collect payments, and scan documents.
- Verify insurance, check benefits and obtain precertification.
- Perform medical receptionist and other clerical duties as requested.

Requirements:

- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.95 - $21.62 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
