POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs ultrasounds with efficiency and accuracy. Ultrasound exams including: echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, echo with microbubble study, carotid, extremity arterial duplex, ABI, Aorta, upper and lower extremity venous exams. Must have a good knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to FHCP policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, skills and experience:

* High School Graduate or Equivalent.
* Must have attended an AMA or CAHEP accredited ultrasound school or,
* Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
* Must have a minimum of one year experience as a Cardiovascular Sonographer.
* PACS/RIS/EHR experience preferred.
* Knowledge of office skills.
* Current professional rescuer CPR/BLS certification required.
* Clear English communication skills, written and oral.
* Must have a valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation. is necessary for required travel throughout the facilities.
