We are looking for Behavioral Assistants (BAs) to work in-home with youths and their families. We offer fast referrals and are hiring in all counties (BERGEN, PASSAIC, UNION, ESSEX, MORRIS, SUSSEX and more!)

Position Summary: Behavioral Assistants are responsible to provide services to children and adolescents with mental health/behavioral health challenges within the family home and/or other community setting. Behavioral staff work under the direction of a licensed clinician to provide behavioral interventions to children with behavioral and/or emotional challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide behavioral interventions to youth within their home and/or community setting.

2. Implement individual service goals that are established by a licensed clinician.

3. Document all sessions into electronic database on a weekly basis.

4. Collaborate effectively with professionals from other disciplines that are also supporting the youth, including but not limited to: education, clinicians, physicians, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience working with children with behavioral and emotional challenges
• Must complete a specialized training program through the System of Care within 6 months of hire (training is free to BA)
• Must have Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Sociology or related field
• Ability to work independently while adhering to timeframes and paperwork guidelines

Practical Therapy Network is a therapeutic agency compromised of a diverse team of licensed mental health professionals servicing youth and families utilizing a wrap-around care, family-centered, strength-based approach. Therapy is provided in the home and community. Our identified clients are youth with behavioral and emotional challenges, ages 4-21 in New Jersey.
