Overview
The Project Manager plays a key role helping to develop new products that will reinforce and strengthen the Lansmont Brand and satisfy Global Customer requirements. Success is defined by Projects that are managed efficiently and professionally by accepting responsibility for all aspects of performance, demonstrating that the projects are managed at every stage including budgets and meeting deadlines.Leads projects from initiation to completion. Works closely with cross functional teams e.g. innovation, purchasing, manufacturing, marketing, service etc. to ensure project success and deliverables are met on time.
Key accountabilities
1. Develop and manage projects plans including defining project scoped, goals, and deliverables
2. Ensures priorities are aligned with the Company’s business plan
3. Allocate the right resources to the Project Team
4. Ensures the team has the capability and capacity to meet the demands of the plan
5. Manages all phases of project plans, manage costs, identifies and mitigates risks, and ensures compliance to Design Guidelines
6. Ensures quality standards are met and maintained
7. Demonstrates strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent communication to both internal and external customer
8. Fosters a positive working environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety
9. Meet customer expectations in terms of regular and relevant updates
10. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Requirements
· Proven experience as Project Manager or similar role
· Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
· Experience in program development and management
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills
· Knowledge of lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices
· Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques
Education & Experience
· A Bachelor’s Degree or training specializing in project management, or engineering.
· 5 years’ experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing role.
· Project management certification CAPM or PMP credential preferred.
· The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
