About the position: Per Diem PhysicianUnder the direction of the State Medical Director, oversees clinical care as provided by the affiliate clinicians. What you’ll be doing:Foster a culture of quality care, service improvement and excellent patient safety. Supervises clinical care that may include, but is not limited to, in-clinic and medication abortion and/or family planning/women’s and men’s health services. Contributes to the team efforts of the agency, thereby ensuring quality care and services for patients. Duties as assigned may include, but not limited to review of medical records as required by state collaborative practices and supervision requirements, clinical audits, and teaching. Major Responsibilities:Performs medical record reviews as required by state collaborative practice and supervision requirements. Fosters a culture of quality care and service improvement and excellent patient safety. Works collaboratively with the State Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Operations colleagues, and other departments, as appropriate. Supports the training activities in family planning and abortion services for internal staff as appropriate. Supports the achievement of productivity and financial objectives of Clinical Services and PPGNHAIK. Understands and adheres to written MS and G’s as well as Health Center and Affiliate policies. Completes mandatory training in a timely manner. Attends provider meetings, provider updates and other training appropriate to role. Supports health care team staff by providing information, educational, and growth opportunities. Demonstrates flexibility in response to changing affiliate needs. Responds to email and communications in a timely manner. Affiliate wide expectations:Adheres to the PPGNHAIK code of conduct and all policies, procedures, and protocols.Demonstrates and maintains a high degree of professionalism.Takes action to support the affiliate’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.Supports and acts in accordance with the PPGNHAIK customer service standards.Values continuous learning and seeks ongoing training and development. Attends continuing medical education activities appropriate to role. Education:MD/DO required. Experience:Family planning and reproductive health care experience sufficient to job requirements. License:MD/DO in relevant state of service. Certification:Board Certified/Board eligible.Compensation: PPGNHAIK's compensation philosophy is based on equity and transparency. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's directly applicable experience and internal equity within the pay grade.
