Maintenance Coordinator, Temple, TX

Salary Non-Exempt $52,000 - $60,000 per year which is equivalent to $25.00 - $28.85 per hour. Based on experience.

Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Primary Responsibilities

• Administrative support member of a team responsible for the maintenance of the Temple facility.
• Maintaining the inventory of all repair/replacement parts that are needed for the maintenance team.
• Organize the inventory items in an effective way for retrieval.
• Take care of shipping and receiving specifically for the maintenance department.
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory in the preventive maintenance system.
• Adding new PM request, editing current PM request and maintain hard copies of work orders and PMs.
• Other given tasks, such as preparing procedures, one-point lessons, EHS cority.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies/regulations and remain aligned to the PPG Strategic Objectives.
• Will operate a CMMS, Micromain, issue demand work orders and PMs and ensure they are done as scheduled.
• Contacting outside contractors and coordinating necessary maintenance or repairs for the plant.
• Interface with regular contractors to ensure work is done to support the operation’s requirements.
• Examples include Lift Trucks and other lifting equipment service and PM work
• Perform purchasing activities as required including price/quality comparisons to get best value for the organization.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
• Computer proficiency with business software including Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
