Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a full time position working clinically as well as administratively as an Associate Medical Director for the Emergency Medicine Program at Carewell Health in East Orange, NJ

You will work 10 -12 shifts per month as well as receive a stipend for administrative duties

As the Associate Medical Director, you will be responsible for assisting our present Medical Director with overseeing the medical operations of our organization, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and medical management. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills. You will

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership and guidance to the organization
- Develop and implement medical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes
- Oversee medical staff and provide mentorship and support
- Participate in hospital committees and meetings
- Conduct research and stay updated on advancements in medical practices
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as insurance providers and regulatory agencies

Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare organization
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical standards
- Experience in hospital or acute care settings
- Familiarity with managed care principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
