Ppc Partners Inc is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Berlin, WI

Project Accountant
Pieper Electric is hiring a Project Accountant to coordinate with project managers to manage all financial aspects of a projects in Mt Pleasant, WI. This includes but is not limiting to; Review and understand contract, work orders and purchase order requirements related to payment terms, certified payroll, sub contractor requirements and payment terms, Review and approve all A/P and A/R & Billing related to job. Timely and accurate processing of certified payroll, lien waivers, AIA and schedule of values and additional requirements specific to each job
Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Coordinate with project manager to determine % of completion and all billing requirements
Complete AIA Documents, Schedule of values, 3rd party billing entry, billing in Pieper financial system.
Review and approve invoices and receiving documents for Accounts Payable processing
Determine taxability status of job, as well as for materials purchased on the job and ensure job to set up to accurately reflect taxability.
Facilitate certified payroll submission based on customer requirements.
Assist in timely collections of A/R
Other:
Interacts with Company personnel, customers and public in a manner that enhances achievement of Company goals.
Work closely with A/R Manager and Sr. Accounting Manager to develop project accountant role for other jobs and departments.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar
Prior experience as project accountant in construction industry.
Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency.
Strong desire to create and improve processes and procedures.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of staff.
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable
