As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our County's buildings, grounds, parks, and sports fields are well-maintained and safe for everyone to enjoy. - Operate a variety of ground maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, and more
- Collect litter and garbage from county property
- Perform minor repairs on tools and equipment
- Trim and remove trees and shrubs as needed
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of landscaping
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
- Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
- No experience requirements, as on the job training will be provided.
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Virginia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
