PowerStone Property Management is Hiring a Part-Time Community Ambassador Near Solana Beach, CA

Powerstone Property Management, a growing community association (HOA) management company is seeking a part-time Community Ambassador for our on-site property in Solana Beach, CA.

As a Community Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming and harmonious environment for both residents and guests. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with community rules and regulations while providing exceptional customer service to all individuals within the complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • STVR Permits: Ensure a current STVR permit from COSB is on file and attached to each unit’s record in CondoControl.
  • Rental Owner/Manager Contacts: Ensure Owner/Manager contacts are current, including contact name(s), phone numbers and emails for each rental unit. Inform and engage with the rental unit contacts to address questions, issues or concerns as appropriate.
  • Monitoring Rental Websites: Regularly check rental websites to ensure that rental listings within the complex are compliant with community guidelines and regulations.
  • Guest Check-in/Check-out: Greet and check-in/out rental guests, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to complex policies. Confirm guests have a copy of the Rules and Regulations for the complex and if not, provide a copy upon check-in.
  • Rule Compliance: Monitor both guests and residents to ensure adherence to community rules and regulations, addressing any infractions diplomatically and promptly, issuing violation notices as appropriate.
  • Amenity Access Validation: Verify that guests using community amenities are authorized to do so, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all residents.
  • Property Walks: Conduct routine walks throughout the property to identify maintenance issues, additional trash pick-up needs, and general compliance with community rules.
  • Vendor Relationships: Meet with vendors as necessary for site tours, questions, and other duties as assigned.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Provide quarterly metrics on rental activity, including pertinent information related to number of stays per unit, number and type of rules violations, etc.
  • Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the Property Manager and other relevant staff members regarding any issues or developments within the community.
  • Create Best Practices Material: Create Best Practice documents for rental owners, to include best practices for both owners and for documentation they should provide to renters.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Comfortable working on a computer and proficient in basic software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Previous experience in property management or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
