PowerNet Credit Union is looking for a personable, outgoing individual for our Teller/MSR position. The responsibilities of the position include: process teller transactions for members (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments); answer questions about financial products and services; assist members with questions and resolve problems; and assist to open & close accounts. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, a desire to help people, be able to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent phone skills.
• Cash handling and check negotiation experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of banking industry a plus.

Experience: 6 to 12 months experience in retail or financial institution with cash handling and check negotiation experience. Previous teller experience preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or education equivalent to High School Diploma.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
