Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces in commercial settings. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our clients and their customers.

Duties:

- Perform floor care duties including buffing, scrubbing floors

- Check to make sure your team cleaned their classrooms and restrooms

- Follow established cleaning procedures to maintain the cleanliness of floors

- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure effective and efficient cleaning

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

- Perform general custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming

- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment as required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in floor care or custodial work preferred

- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques

- Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if necessary

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
