LHH is working with a leading manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area who wants to hire an Electrical Engineer to join their team!

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for our clients products. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical systems and components
• Design and develop electrical systems and components
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical systems and components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems related to electrical systems and components
• Conduct electrical simulations, calculations, and modeling to recommend design modifications to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and other internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5 years proven experience of a similar role
• PCB experience is a plus
• Experience designing and maintaining ladder wire diagrams
• Experience designing and maintaining BOMS
• UL 508a, ISO 9001
• Experience with motor control panels, troubleshooting, testing for motor burn out, creating test rigs, running electrical components to cycle products, etc.
• Experience with AC motors
