Power3 Solutions and Partnering Companies is Hiring a Technical Analyst I Near Fort Belvoir, VA

DSSP is looking to hire an energetic, forward-thinking, professional for our Technical Analyst position in support of the Defense logistics Agency (DLA) located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Location: Currently the position is working remote due to Covid restrictions. Candidates must be in the local area (Fort Belvoir, VA) and be prepared to come into the office a few days a week once these restrictions ease. 

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $65k - $75k

Qualified Candidates must possess the following skills/experience:

  • Experience with large and complex organization
  • Familiarity with Federal Government
  • Experience with analyzing and assessing large volume of data
  • Familiarity with deployment of solutions that support strategic initiatives
  • Experience with Oracle based Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
  • Familiarity with development of reference guidance
  • Familiarity with OUSD AT&L policies and requirements
  • Familiarity with SFFAS No. 3, 6, 23, 10, 35, and 42; Technical Release 13, 14, and 15
  • Familiarity with market based appraisals
  • Knowledge of valuation of long-lived assets including alternative valuation methodologies
  • Familiarity with accounting requirements for Environmental Liabilities
  • Familiarity with SFFAS No. 5 and Technical R 2
  • Familiarity with DoD’s systems for tracking environmental liabilities Understanding of requirements for imputed cost
  • Familiarity with SFFAS No. 4 and its interpretations Knowledge of DoD’s heritage assets

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in one of the following: Business Strategy, Transformational Change Management, Human Resources, Business Process Re-engineering, Project Management, Process Improvement, Property, Plant, and Equipment, Heritage Assets, Environmental Liabilities, Actuarial Sciences, Imputed Costs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences, Real Estate, Communications, Environmental Science, or Government and Public Administration
  • Be Detail Oriented
  • Possess excellent Communication Skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
