Power3 Solutions and Partnering Companies is Hiring a Payroll Analyst Near Charleston, SC

Power3 Solutions is hiring Payroll Analysts to join our team in Charleston, SC! This position offers a hybrid schedule – 2 days telework & 3 days on-site.Job tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Payroll processing, record keeping, analysis, auditing and monitoring
  • Time & Attendance reporting/metrics – including accuracy of calculating and processing
  • Pay calculation
  • Individual leave accounts
  • Allotments of pay
  • Receive, research, analyze and process pay actions
  • Answers questions regarding payroll inquiries
  • Manual calculations, when necessary in order to verify year-to-date adjustments and/or corrections
  • Necessary actions relating to calculating overpayments
  • Report preparation pertaining to payroll
  • Supports polices and establishes, maintains and updates required QMS records
  • Monitor, develop, document and implement continuous improvement efforts
  • Serve as a payroll point of contact
Required Qualifications:
  • Payroll experience
  • Experience providing technical support for automated financial systems, user support for installed systems or technical support to financial processes
  • Experience with mainframe, web based or client-server technologies
  • Business systems analysis experience
  • Analysis of technical and financial tasks experience
  • Data, accounting, payment records, reports analysis
  • Knowledge/familiarity of bookkeeping and accounting procedures
  • Intermediate skills with MS Excel and MS Word
  • US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with large, complex financial management systems/technology supporting DoS preferred
  • Associate’s or four-year degree from an accredited university or college preferred
