Children's Area Party Coordinator
Saturdays and/or Sundays 1pm-5pm

The purpose of the Children's Area Party Coordinator is to provide leadership and direction to the Children's Area Special Programs. Ensure that Children's Area are delivering an exceptional member experience while providing children and youth special programs in a safe, caring, secure and effective manner.
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s and/or Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college preferred.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in child development or related area preferred.
CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner.
Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
Proficient computer skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership, direction and oversight to Children’s Area rentals/parties.
2. Greet children and parents in a positive manner, while monitoring appropriate entry and exit of adults and children in and out of the secured children’s special programs area according to center policy.
3. Be knowledgeable of and enforce the Center’s youth and childcare policies to ensure a safe environment for all children.
4. Be receptive to parent’s feedback, concerns and/or questions related to children’s special programs, including appropriate follow up as needed.
5. Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
6. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
7. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.
8. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules and scheduling appointments for prospects and members.
9. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties.
10. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures including the use of facility paging system and confidence in calling and communicating with EMS.
11. Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training.
12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work-related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and team members as provided in the Team Member Handbook at the time of hire.
