Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Temporary Power team as a Low Voltage Technician.

SUMMARY:

This position performs all tasks required for installation of a complete structured cabling system in a new or existing construction environments. This includes but is not limited to horizontal cabling, copper/fiber optic backbone and security/CCTV devices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge and ability in the installation practices of fiber optic CCTV and Security installs.
  • Perform all tasks required for installation of cabling systems in accordance to code requirements.
  • Be able to extend circuits and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Adhere to Power Plus! safety and quality standards.
  • Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, comfort working with heights – climbing ladders and working in bucket trucks
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Able to attend to multiple priorities with frequent distractions.
  • Valid, clean state Driver’s License and clean DMV report
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft office programs (Power Point /Excel /Visio/ Word).
  • Must possess basic tools of the trade i.e. low voltage tools and willing to work with own tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00
