PROPOSAL MANAGER

Job Summary:

As the Proposal Manager your core function is to ensure all the proposals are fully executed from start to finish. You will be responsible for the success of the entire proposal process. Although the Proposal Manager has no direct reports, they will assist the Director of Commercial Operations with mentoring and training of less-experienced proposal team members and support personnel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement a proposal process to develop winning proposals for customers
• Manage the interface with customers and internal team members
• Approve the scope of work of each party involved in the bid
• Analyze Contract requirements and conditions
• Approve the cost estimates of materials, labor, and personnel
• Endorse the project organization, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, and overall resources plan
• Integrate proposal packages prepared by any other individuals and reconcile possible discrepancies

Minimum Requirements:

• Proposal management experience
• Power generation industry experience is highly preferred
• Ability to problem solve and willingness to be a driver and initiate action
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
