Power Partners is Hiring a Technical Training and Diagnostic Supervisor Near Athens, GA

Overview

This is a multi-tiered leadership position that directly supports daily manufacturing goals through training and the day-to-day management of personnel and task priorities for DDSC, Back-Side Testing, RMA, and Roving Diagnostic Technician functions. In addition to diagnosis, repair, and in-the-line quality leadership, this supervisory position supports functional training efforts by leveraging existing environments and opportunities to integrate new employees into a positive and effective on the job learning program. The Technical Training and Diagnostic Supervisor will also work directly with the Training Manager to coordinate remedial training for current employees with high occurrences of correctable manufacturing and quality defects.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitoring and control the number of units located in the Backside Test DDSC, Defective Unit and RMA operations areas.• Enter reorders as needed. • Supervise and contribute to in-the-line diagnostic repair efforts. • Communicate daily priorities of work to the Technical Training and Diagnostic team. • Foster a positive training atmosphere for new hires. • Manage corrective or remedial training for current employees as identified by the Training Manager. • Document training/retraining efforts.• Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.• Work effectively with other members of the management team.• Work closely with Quality to maintain established company standards and programs.• Monitor and report on issues and provide data requested by organizational leaders.

Qualifications

• Leads by example.

• Background in Organizational Leadership or Operational Management.• Experience leading large scale projects. • Experience with coaching, mentoring, and training employees.• Intermediate computer skills (e.g., MS Office including Excel and Word) are essential. • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.• Strong sense of situational awareness and attention to detail. • Comfortable offering coaching input, direct feedback on performance, and discipline when necessary.• Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external. • Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
