We are looking for an individual to join our team in the role of Electrical Test Technician. The test technician will apply their knowledge of single and three phase power testing, and basic troubleshooting to magnetic components in a production facility. Employees should prepare by reading work orders, tests scheduled, test procedures, performance specifications and schematics.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Perform mechanical and visual inspections
• Complete electrical tests
• Record test data on reports
• Determine acceptance or failure rate and communicate to Management
• Properly maintain test area and test equipment
• Trouble shoot units and advise production departments of need for rework
• Responsible for adherence to quality standards in their department

Power Magnetics is a leader in the industry, and we require the following qualifications:

• Two years of training at technical school level or above
• One year of work experience
• Must be familiar with operation of test equipment such as DMM's, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Insulation tests, Resistance Meters, Distortion Analyzers, and other related equipment
• Employee must be self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised
