Power Innovations is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer that would like to join a growing team and take the company to the next level of business. A successful candidate will have experience in the following:

• Draft work in SolidWorks, primarily performing sheet metal design.
• Drafting work instructions for Production.
• Building full and accurate Bill of Materials with supporting documentation.
• Creating assembly drawings and diagrams.
• Spatial and weight analysis.
• Be an active participant in Engineering documentation, including but not limited to:
  • Documentation needs
  • Review documentation
  • Correct redlines
  • Add notes
  • Technical callouts
  • Dimensioning
• Create sheet metal designs and assemblies.
• Create electrical drawings and perform other product design activities.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 10 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role, be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments and demonstrate an understanding of SolidWorks to navigate through the different tools in the software, especially the sheet metal tool.
