Schedule: 5 x 8 Duration: 6 Months
Location: White Deer, Texas
Responsibilities: Perform assembly, commissioning, testing, repairand maintenance on wind turbine generators and related equipment at wind farmConduct and review safety analyses of potential electrical and mechanicalhazards in the wind turbines, switch room, and the O&M building SupportRoot Cause Analyses to assist in determining equipment failure and the reasonsfor failures when they occur Complete required and accurate documentationassociated with corrective and preventive maintenance of wind turbines andassociated equipment Maintain records of documentation Troubleshoot, adjust,repair, and/or retrofit low to medium voltage electrical, mechanical orhydraulic components and equipment associated with wind turbines and the windfarm Perform preventative maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manneron wind turbines and associated equipment located on the wind farm Utilizeappropriate safety gear, protective equipment, and control or dissipation of energysources to ensure work is performed in safe manner Conduct safety analysis andreview of hazards and energy sources prior to and while performing any workassignment on the wind farm Properly maintain tools and equipment used toperform assigned maintenance assignments Maintain required trainingcertifications and qualifications as to enable personnel to safely perform workrelated tasks in a quality matter Other responsibilities as assigned RequiredSkills.
Competencies: High school education or the equivalent A minimum ofone year of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician working on Mitsubishi WindTurbines Electrical trouble shooting and hydraulic experience Flexibility towork overtime and rotating shifts as required Previous experience working withhand tools and power tools Able to work independently in a fast paced teamenvironment Ability to move and manipulate up to 50 pounds Ability to climbvertical ladders and work at heights of 300 feet Ability to be certified andwork with both medium and high voltage equipment Preferred Requirements:College degree or Wind Energy Certification Previous electrical and/ormechanical experience as a Wind Turbine Technician Mitsubishi TurbineTechnician Experience on Mitsubishi gearbox, schedule maintenance, greasing,cleaning, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting Have a Valid driver’s licenseand satisfactory driving record Able to Pass a 10 Panel Drug Screen OSHA 10COVID self-evaluation morning, mask indoors, 6-foot separation.
