Power Design, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Learning and Development Partner

about the position… As the Learning and Development Partner (Training Facilitator), you’ll work with our Learning & Development team at our corporate headquarters in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. You’ll partner with a variety of subject matter experts to design, write, develop, manage, and facilitate complex learning and development projects for multiple audiences. This role is a perfect fit for motivated, driven individuals who want to grow within the organization. position details/responsibilities… Facilitate training curriculum in large and small group settings virtually and in-person Administers program maintenance which includes scheduling, tracking, and reporting Design, structure, and maintain multi-platform training content (including activities, materials, and assessments) with a focus on optimizing the learner experience. Effectively work with a variety of subject matter experts (business and IT partners, management, training team members, etc.) For each course, develop content and a syllabus to match the outlined objectives, ensuring that the curriculum is aligned with external certifications and/or accreditation requirements when necessary. Identify knowledge and development gaps based on input from management, stakeholders, and employee data. Interact with publishers and/or third-party sources to enhance the quality of the course content and instructional delivery. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. here’s what we’re looking for… Bachelor’s degree (instructional design, curriculum development, or other related field) and three (3) years facilitation/teaching/presenting experience in an educational/corporate setting (adult learners preferred) Strong knowledge and understanding of Instructional Design and Theory (certification a plus) Someone skilled at in-person and online curriculum development and facilitation A great communicator who is comfortable working with and teaching all levels of staff and across multiple core subject areas. Someone who is extremely organized, creative, and obsessed with the details Adapts to change easily A self-motivated project manager with expert knowledge in designing project strategies for training, communication, and evaluation plans. Someone with a strong track record of rapid-learning content development. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and experience working with a learning management system (LMS) Bonus? Someone who has construction industry experience and/or experience with HTML5, Storyline, Articulate, Captivate, WIX or other eLearning software.
