Powell Valley Assisted Living and Memory Care is Hiring a Business Office Manager Near Gresham, OR

Long Term Care Community looking for a Business Office Manager to manage all banking and financial record keeping of the company. The Business Office Manager will also be responsible for employee benefits enrollment and payroll processing.

Essential functions:

  • Perform accounting and bookkeeping transactions.
  • Maintain all accounts
  • Keep accurate financial records of rent receipts, petty cash disbursements, miscellaneous income and expenditures
  • Review vendor invoices for errors
  • Write and mail vendor checks on schedule
  • Ensure that all rent is collected by no later than the tenth of each month, receipt rent payments and deposit monies in the bank
  • Provide Management Company with all the necessary reports on time and as specified in policy.
  • Supervise petty cash according to policy.
  • Answer inquiries on resident billings
  • Develop and maintain organized and accurate files as specified by Company policy
  • Maintain professional attitude when dealing with residents, staff, visitors, vendors, and the public
  • Complete accounting research for rent raise impact, as required by Management (i.e. habitually late payers, partial payers, and other indicators).
  • Work closely with Management to keep them informed as to budget, bills pending, etc
  • Provide professional telephone support
  • Attend all company in-services
  • Prepare staff payroll
  • Audit SAIF reports for proper placement
  • Assist employees with enrollment of insurance and audit for eligibility
  • Assist employees with enrollment in company’s simple plan and keep all records as required by State and Federal agencies
  • Maintain profession appearance both with self and office
  • Other duties as required

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Familiarity with email scheduling tools
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
