Apply today to be rewarded with the great opportunities Powell Supportive Services, Inc. has to offer!Routine Functions:· Performs routine nursing duties including but not limited to:· Assistance with ADL’s and IADL’s.· Client and caregiver health instruction.· Notifies the Registered Nurse or Clinical Director of any changes in client’s condition.· Performs the following where training or demonstrated skills and the state nurse practice act permits:· Inserting and irrigating tubes and Foley catheters.· Administering oxygen by mask or cannula.· Ventilator, Tracheostomy care and suctioning endotracheal.· Supervision of aides and other health care team members.Qualifications· Current LPN license with the State Board of Nursing in the State of Florida· One year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the last three years in a supervised setting· Current CPR/ First Aid certification· Proof of current physical/PPDAdditional Information Sympathetic attitude toward care of disabled or sick Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands Good verbal and written communications skills Shall have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered any position within this agency.
