Location: Western Pennsylvania

As we embark on this exciting venture, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wall Crew Member/Project Manager. This role offers the unique opportunity to work hands-on with our wall crew while also taking on project management responsibilities. Position Overview:
As a Wall Crew Member/Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the construction of solid pour foundation walls while also overseeing project activities and ensuring timely completion of work. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to project management. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of our company while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the wall crew to assist with the construction of solid pour foundation walls, including setting forms, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient use of resources.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project objectives and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, and address any issues or concerns as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Implement best practices and procedures to optimize efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the wall crew to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and innovation to enhance company performance and competitiveness.
  • Assist with estimating, bidding, and proposal development for new projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or training in construction management or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in construction, particularly in concrete work and foundation construction (preferred).
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to operate construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
