NOTICE OF POSITION

POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Eric Jay Rosser, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
NON-CERTIFIED TEACHER SUBSTITUTE
POUGHKEEPSIE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a High School Diploma;
Candidates must have 60 college credits in an educational field;
Candidates must be fingerprinted.

JOB SUMMARY:

Duties are normally performed in a school/classroom environment. Duties may be conducted in work-related community settings and/or a virtual environment.

APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials, and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be conducted where appropriate.

SALARY: Non-certified Teacher Sub Rate: $140/day
