Clinical Dietitian 

Robins AFB, GA

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides nutritional expertise in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of patient programs.
  • Utilizes latest scientific and computer knowledge in providing and evaluating services. 
  • Participates in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance improvement of healthy eating habits and proper nutrition activities.
  • Speaks to groups to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition.
  • Communicates with patients to learn about their health goals and dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions. 
  • Develops nutrition plans for patients. 
  • Compiles information and tracks client progress towards their health goals.
  • Enters patient information in the patient database. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or completion of a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) accredited by the ACEND or completion of a post- Baccalaureate degree Dietetic Internship Program of supervised practice (for a minimum of 1200 hours) accredited by ACEND.
  • Possess current registration as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Current hands on Heartsaver AED CPR course from a nationally accredited agency (such as American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • One year of specialized experience in diet therapy after graduation.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted dietetics license or certification.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
