Clinic Administrator (RN)

Kay County, OK

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the clinic administrator/manager to oversee and be responsible for the overall operations and services provided. 
  • Manage day to day clinic operations, ensure clinical quality expectations are met, provide exceptional customer service and partner with the Clinic Medical Director. This includes compliance requirements of the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Joint Commission (JC), Environment of Care (EOC) oversight, lab compliance and other related items.
  • Manage the clinic’s financial performance with specific emphasis on revenue growth through enrollment and non-personnel cost containment. This includes daily and monthly FTE/staffing analysis and a thorough understanding of the drivers of all non-personnel costs, such as lab, telecommunications, facilities, insurance, etc.
  • Proactively manage veteran enrollment and retention and ensure no veteran exceeds his/her annual vesting visit date.
  • Maintain staffing levels consistent with veteran enrollment, contract terms, and to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Review and analyze reporting, including clinical quality metrics, financial reports, staffing levels and other relevant information. Provide standard updates to leadership to aggressively improve any deficiencies and maintain excellence.
  • Emphasize attracting, coaching, mentoring, and retaining talent through excellent communication, training, enforcing key competencies and performance management, when required.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with our VA partners, ensuring that the Regional Director is kept informed of any significant issues. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS Nursing or other population health related. Advanced degree in a healthcare discipline highly desirable. Masters in community health is desirable. 
  • National certification in a related field is recommended. 
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience with leadership and administrative responsibilities in Administration of Inpatient, Outpatient Medical Practice.
  • Contractor staff shall complete VA mandatory training as requested and complete ACLS/BLS training and keep ACLS/BLS certifications current throughout the life of the contract. Certification refers to the successful completion of an American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN) approved BLS or ACLS course. The AHA and MTN are the only programs acceptable by VA for obtaining required certification.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
