About this Role

Contract Administrator

If you enjoy working with a great group of professionals, are accurate, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy using your problem-solving and analysis skills, then we have a role for you! Potelco, INC., seeks a great Contract Administrator to join the team at our Sumner, WA office.

The Contract Administrator is responsible for collaborating with team members for the consultation, creation, and execution of contracts. This role is perfect for someone comfortable negotiating, and enjoys collaborating with company-wide teams, as well as vendors and subcontractors. Pay: $34.00 to $38.00 hourly salary depending on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Submit and administer Prevailing Wage forms, monitor, and enforce subcontractor Prevailing Wage Requirements
  • Collaborate with team members on the process by which contracts are consolidated, created, and executed.
  • Prepare subcontract agreements.
  • Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
  • Review and update existing contracts.
  • Procure & administer various bonds, certificates of insurance and company licenses.
  • Prepare and submit customer pre-qualification applications.
  • Support and collaborate with internal business partners, departments, and Quanta West OPUs.
  • Onboarding and vetting of construction and engineering subcontractors.
  • Record keeping, filing, copying, scanning, and other routine administrative tasks.
  • Performing other duties as necessary.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related
  • Demonstrated excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Conduct work with Attention to Detail, Accuracy and Quality
  • Negotiation and Analytical Skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Access)
  • Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with construction contracts
  • Knowledge of the utility industry
  • General understanding of Prevailing Wage laws and processes

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is - depending on experience and qualifications.
