Position Summary

Potawatomi Training, LLC(a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified Intermediate Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). This effort includes the application and employment of cybersecurity expertise to systems and projects, to ensure that the appropriate security features and safeguards are designed, integrated, and implemented by all information systems throughout the system development life cycle.

• IA Life Cycle Management
• Security Technology Support
• Mission Systems Engineering Support
• Security Assessment Tracking and Electronic Logging of Labor for Internal Testing Efforts
• Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement and Awareness
• Information Technology (IT) Policy

Education & Experience Requirements
EDUCATION:

• A Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering is desired and may be substituted for four (4) years of experience; substitution of work experience is at the discretion of the COR.

EXPERIENCE:

• Ten (10) years of related work experience
• A working knowledge of the security authorization processes and procedures
• Familiarity with change management functions
• Experience in several of the following areas is required: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, different communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools
• Familiarity with commercial security products, security authorization techniques, security incident management, and PKI and authorization services

CERTIFICATION / COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• This is an IA WIP Billet per DOD Directive 8570-1 and must meet specified certification requirements defined and documented by the TTO COR

CLEARANCE:

• Top Secret/SCI

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

• Some walking and standing required. You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds.
• Most of the work is performed in-doors
• Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time
• Requires standing for periodically
• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend
