As a Runner/Shuttle Driver at our dealership, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership by providing transportation and logistical support for customers and dealership personnel. You will be responsible for transporting customers to and from the dealership, delivering vehicles between locations, and assisting with various errands and tasks as needed. Your friendly demeanor and reliable service will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the efficiency of dealership operations.

Responsibilities:

Customer Transportation:

Provide shuttle transportation services to customers, transporting them to and from the dealership, their homes, or other designated locations.
Greet customers warmly, assist them with entering and exiting the vehicle, and ensure their comfort and safety during the journey.
Provide information about dealership services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the customer experience.

Vehicle Delivery and Pickup:

Transport vehicles between dealership locations, customer homes, service centers, and other destinations as required.
Ensure that vehicles are delivered and picked up in a timely and professional manner, following established procedures for documentation and inspection.
Coordinate with service advisors, sales staff, and other dealership personnel to prioritize vehicle transport requests and optimize efficiency.

Errands and Assistance:

Assist dealership personnel with various errands and tasks, such as picking up parts and supplies, delivering documents, and running miscellaneous errands.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring that it is properly fueled, maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies for daily operations.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness, and reporting any issues to management.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service at all times, exhibiting professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness to customer needs and preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Act as a brand ambassador for the dealership, representing our values and commitment to customer satisfaction in all interactions.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating dealership vehicles.
Maintain a clean driving record and comply with dealership policies and procedures related to driver safety and vehicle operation.
Follow proper procedures for vehicle inspection, maintenance, and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and dealership standards.
