Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician

Posterity Group, LLC is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians for the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (FVAMC), North Carolina.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Interview and examine patients, review past medical history, and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make a diagnosis for primary care services. Internal Medicine Physicians make diagnoses after evaluating the information obtained and provide medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate.
•Provide primary care services supporting a continuum of care from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, to appropriate referral and follow-up. Be responsible for caring for patients with simple to moderately complex conditions that can be appropriately managed in a primary care outpatient environment.
•Provide healthcare services for the entire period of performance at the FVAMC on an as-needed basis. The usual workday will be from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (PDT) on weekdays. The physician will do an outpatient clinic during the weekdays per regular clinic schedules, usually from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (PDT) daily. The physician shall schedule and perform procedures as appropriate.
•Counsel and educate Veteran-patients, families, and FVAMC medical staff about general healthcare topics and concerns.
Qualifications:
• Physicians shall be duly licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or the District of Columbia (D.C.), and residency training in the specialty of Internal Medicine
• Must have graduated from an approved school and completed Residency or Fellowship acceptable to the Surgeon General and credentialed by the appropriate civilian American Medical Association specialty association
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Must have current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)•National Practitioner Identifier (NPI)
Compensations:
•$256,349 - $297,014 annually
•3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)
•11 paid Federal holidays per year
•$1,500 CME annually
