Position: Customer Service Specialist (we like to call it Spec Builder)

Location: New Paltz, NY

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address packaging needs, quotes, and orders
• Craft detailed specifications based on customer and sales data
• Generate accurate quotes for customers, considering package type, dimensions, and usage
• Deliver formal quotes to customers and sales reps via email
• Process customer purchase orders with precision
• Maintain customer accounts, including shipping locations and special requirements
• Conduct thorough reviews of your work and that of your peers to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

• Ideally, you'll have previous experience in business-to-business customer service or spec building. But if you're a quick learner with a passion for the job, we're eager to hear from you!
• Excellent mathematical abilities, including working with fractions and measurements.
• Obsessive attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
• Stellar communication skills, integrity, and accountability
• Familiarity with resource planning software is a plus
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
