Post Road Veterinary Clinic is a small, but busy practice with a dedicated staff committed to the care and needs of our patients. Located in the beautiful beach town of Wells, Maine, we are currently hiring a Veterinary Technician to start work immediately. Full-time and part-time work is available. We are open 6 days a week, some Saturdays will be required to work.

We are looking for candidates that can offer compassionate, client-oriented service at a high level of veterinary medicine. Our clinic allows technicians to be technicians. We foster an independent work environment that will utilize your veterinary skills. Applicants must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting Doctors in appointments

• Assisting the Head Technician with surgery preparations and anesthesia

• Handling animals, drawing up vaccines and filling medication

• Working alongside our team to provide urgent and routine medical care for our patients and clients.

Prior Veterinary Technician/Medicine experience requested. Technician Certification and anesthesia experience are a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
• Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Required)
