We are seeking an experienced Onboarding and Compliance Specialist to join our team. Job Description

  • Respond to inquiries from employees, clients, and administration via phone and email regarding onboarding processes and documents.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations as it pertains to new hires and funders. 
  • Ensures the onboarding process meets all requirements and adheres to all employment laws.
  • Executes all pre-hire compliance related steps to determine hiring criteria within the field including but not limited to background checks, drug screens, and verification of professional licenses.
  • Notifies management and/or departments regarding onboarding process issues; collaborates and advises as appropriate and escalates non-compliance issues and concerns.
  • Ensures tasks are completed within PSBG's policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensures new hire data and client data is populated accurately in the online database.
  • Collect and relay insurance benefits and authorization information to clinical team and customers. 
  • Collect and relay compliance data to administration. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and flexible. 
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and customer focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously; set priorities and plan work to meet deadlines.
  • Consistently looks for process improvements and greater efficiencies.
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate the mission and core values of PSBG and our commitment to quality. 
  • Basic knowledge of human resources programs and specific regulations relative to human resources.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; college degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years in an administrative, recruiting, or onboarding role.
  • Will substitute education in lieu of experience.
  • Clean background check.
  • Knowledge and compliance of HIPPA practices.
