We are looking for an office worker/ clinical support staff to assist our patients at their doctors appointment. Employee will be expected to be in our Indianapolis office M-F 9-5. Office responsiblites will include scanning paperwork into our EMR system, printing necessary paperwork and receiving med deliveries weekly. They will also work closely with our patient scheduler as well as our nurse. Employee will accompany the nurse to our more busy clinics. Because we are a mobile clinic, employees must have their own reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. Must live within 30 minute commute to Indianapolis. Clinical support responsibilities include traveling to location to meet with our nurse, arriving 30 minutes prior to first scheduled patient, and managing the Vivitrol medication, supplies, and equipment. Clinic locations will mostly be in the Indianapolis area but drive times can up to 2 hours possibly more. All gas will be paid for by the company. Clinical support at clinics would include urine drug screening our patients, scheduling them for their next appointment, and having them fill out medical paperwork. We dress in casual street clothes on location. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our clients’ trust. Responsibilities

• Report to location in a timely fashion. Arriving late is unacceptable. Staff and Patients rely on us arriving when scheduled
• Scheduling patients next appointment and checking signed release forms.
• Urine / Pregnancy testing patients on appointment
• Update a patients chart in the EMR with any new information such as a phone number or an address change
• Report to our main office end of day by email or text.
• Build re-pour with patients and facility staff at location.
• Inform patients of any co-pays or needed information for our billing staff.
• Submit your designated AMEX receipts end of month
• Gather patient feedback and share with management
• Assist the nursing staff by keeping track of supplies such as band-aids, alcohol preps, cups, etc.
• Scanning in release forms that new patients will fill out at appointment

Skills

• Experience in Patient Support or a similar role is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with drug and alcohol treatment industry is a plus but not required
• Experience using a laptop and email. EMR experience is a plus
• Understanding the importance of HIPAA and signed consents
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Multi-tasking abilities.
• Own a reliable refrigerator to store Vivitrol Medication vials.

Basic understanding of using electronics and answering your assigned company email
