Job Duties include:
- Provide excellent customer service in transporting La Posada residents to medical appointments and quality-of-life outings, which include shopping, errands, and scheduled activities.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance and mileage logs.
- Transport inter-office mail to various buildings on the La Posada campus.
- Pick up and deliver resident packages, which may include medications from local pharmacies.
- Monitor cleanliness of vehicles and report maintenance problems to Transportation Supervisor
Requirements:
- Must have an Arizona Commercial Class C License
- Excellence in customer service relations
- Safe driving record
- Knowledge of equipment
- Ability to communicate with older adults as well as peers, with compassion and patience.
- Effective decision-making skills and the ability to act quickly in emergency situations.
