Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the umbrella of Surgical Services, we are seeking an experienced EndoscopyRegistered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role you will provide services to both inpatients and outpatients. You will assist in endoscopic procedures such as bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, liver biopsy and sigmoidoscopy. The Endoscopy nurse will be proficient in providing emergency interventions when necessary and will be competent in rendering conscious sedation under the direction of a physician. In this role, you will provide appropriate assessment and intervention skills during procedures

• You will communicate with patients, team members, and management in pre and post procedure
• Recognize and respond to changes in a patient’s condition.
• Provide safe medication administration
• Demonstrates proficiency in IV insertion
• Assists physician with outpatient procedures using aseptic technique.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
• BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS)
• ACLS (American Heart Association Provider or American Red Cross) – within 6 months
• Two years of experience as an Endoscopy nurse preferred
