Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will focus on the patient’s overall well-being by improving their ability to perform activities of daily living. You will assist individuals in regaining their skills and abilities and decreasing their limitations or disabilities.

  • You will plan therapeutic care based on clinical assessment.
  • You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team.
  • Provide customized treatment plans to improve patient's ability to perform daily life activities and reach their goals.
  • You will complete patient assessments, and participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience.
  • You will record and report on patient’s response to treatment, as well as tracking progress toward identified goals.
  • Integrate occupational therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:


  • Master’s Degree Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Licensed or license eligible as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient setting preferred.
