Responsibilities

• This position involves the coordination of clinical management of the Watchman program across the entire continuum of care.
• Manages and coordinates the Watchman program and assures thorough patient evaluation and education for Watchman procedures.
• Serves as a facilitator for the hospital structural heart program and drives performance and improvement initiatives.
• Acts as a resource and organizer for all areas caring for Watchman patients.
• Provides and/or coordinates educational activities for all patients, and audits the billing, coding and documentation for accuracy and improvement.
• Acts as a liaison on behalf of the Watchman program and the hospital to promote awareness and education .
• Works with the Structural Heart Coordinator for cross training for other Structural Heart program.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree in nursing required,
• 1 year direct patient care required

Preferred job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 1-2 years previous experience with Structural Heart Programs preferred.
