Portland Gold Exchange is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Portland, OR

Our Company:

Portland Gold Exchange is a dealer in jewelry, precious metals and diamonds. At our offices, we provide free appraisals and quotes for customers who bring in their valuables. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best prices, information and expert advice when considering selling their valuables.

About the Position:

We are hiring for a part-time position customer service position. You will sit down with our customers to accurately determine the authenticity and value of their items. We are looking for someone who will provide great customer service - all training on gold testing and evaluation will be provided.

Other responsibilities include keeping the store clean and organized, some administrative tasks.

We are looking to hire someone who is motivated, hardworking, and eager to learn. There will be great opportunity for advancement in the company as the online sales division continues to grow as well as expansion throughout the PNW.

What else we look for:

While not required, experience with jewelry or jewelry sales is an asset.

Your duties as a Precious Metals Analyst:

- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients in person, over the phone and by email.

- Accurately assess customers’ precious metals in a timely manner.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Work on other tasks and projects as assigned.

Hours

This is part-time position, approximately 16-24 hours/week.

We are presently looking for candidates to work Monday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
