Your experience working in libraries (what roles and capacities have you served?)PCC Library is seeking a Resource Sharing Specialist focused on Interlibrary Loan. This is a full-time position within the Access Services Department located at PCC’s Sylvania Campus. The hours are 8:15am-5:15pm, Monday through Friday. Under the general direction of a Library Supervisor, the incumbent serves as the primary staff member responsible for resource sharing management in the assigned area of Interlibrary Loan. This position serves as the functional expert in the operation of the library’s automation systems specific to resource sharing and collaborates with other library departments, students, faculty, staff, outside agencies, vendors, and the general public. This position works under minimal supervision and is responsible for training and guiding others, which may require acting in a lead capacity.
Additional duties include staffing the library checkout desk and performing core circulation duties such as checking materials in and out, answering information questions, answering telephones, and explaining library policies and procedures.
These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
Associate’s degree and two years of library experience. Relevant library experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
