TEMPORARY FULL-TIME EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs

PCC's Vice President of Student Affairs is seeking a temporary Executive Assistant to provide critical administrative support for his office and the Student Affairs division. This Executive Assistant role works independently to provide complex, confidential support requiring discretion and judgment in matters of significance. The primary duties and responsibilities involve oversight of office operations for the Vice President of Student Affairs. Responsibilities include coordinating Executive calendars, including arranging meetings and events; assisting in budget preparation; processing paperwork; providing assistance to students, staff, and the public; and representing the Vice President’s office on committees and meetings.

This position is located at the Sylvania campus and generally requires a minimum of four days per week onsite, with occasional travel to different PCC and offsite locations to attend or staff meetings. The incumbent will work very closely with the Executive Assistant team in the offices of the President and Vice Presidents, as well as with Student Affairs Administrative Assistants across the college.

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with office management practices and standard operating procedures including scheduling, record-keeping, note-taking, documentation archiving, and use of Google suite of technology application

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field (Note: Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Starting Salary Expectations
Minimum $56,054 to range midpoint of $68,667. Placement will generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work is generally performed in an office environment, with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. Frequent reaching, walking, standing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required. Incumbents may be required to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
