Job DescriptionWe are looking to add a Canning Line Operator to join our cider production team!Portland Cider Co.’s cidery and headquarters are located in Clackamas, OR. The CanningLine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the canning line in a safeand efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded, thoughtful,efficient, organized, considerate, and respectful.Every member of our production team plays a pivotal role in our vision to foster acommunity that expects more from the cider they drink. Join us!Responsibilities• Operating Canning line on a daily basis, 10 AM – 6 PM, 5 days a week.• Machinery maintenance and ability to work with tech support and machinemanuals as needed.• Other production tasks include but are not limited to Kegging, keg washing,general cidery maintenance and sanitation tasks, and warehouse organization.Benefits• $20-22/ hourly pay rate, depending on experience.• A full-time position with the #2 cider company in Oregon.• Cider rations!• PTO and major holidays, with additional paid time off between Christmas and theNew Year for all production, sales, and management staff.• Medical benefits after a preliminary 90-day period.• You’ll be working with an experienced, tight-knit cider production team, all beingfully experienced operators to support your position.Qualifications• (Minimum) 1 year of beverage production experience, such as beer/ cider/ wine/carbonated water/ kombucha.• Experience operating a packaging/canning line (we use a Cask ACS V5).Experience with operating industrial equipment, such as forklifts, canning lines,cartooning machines, keg washers, etc.• Must be physically fit to meet position’s demands and reach, bend, stoop and standfor extended periods as needed.To ApplyPlease email info@portlandcider.com with the attached:• Resume showcasing your relevant experience.• A minimum of two references, ideally including someone you have worked with inthe beverage production field.
