Description

At this time, a Temporary Risk Administrator is needed to be responsible for assisting the Risk Management team in organizing incoming requests, running reports, managing presentations, following up on reserve increases, maintaining reporting, and providing analytical support as needed.

*This is a Temporary Position with an approximate length of 3 - 4 months.*

*This position requires:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes (Pivot Tables/VLookUps)
  • Experience with the management of Outlook Calendars
  • A Broad Knowledge base with Project Management software tools or Ticketing databases (managing projects)
  • An understanding of Proprietary Software Systems or CRMs as it pertains to managing customer information and data

Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Compensation: Starting pay at $20.00 - $22.00 an hour depending on experience. Exceptional Benefits!

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the Risk Management email account by creating Jira tickets, assign responsibility, notate the issue and response, respond to minor requests, close when complete and provide summary statistics.
  • Responsible for organizing the rate change tracking spreadsheet by running reports, documenting recommendations, tracking changes, and working with the Sales team to confirm implementation.
  • Assist with quarterly reviews by setting up the meetings, running reports, creating PowerPoint presentations with recommendations as provided by the Risk team.
  • Responsible for managing the OH and CA watchlists by updating reserve increases, adding new items, evaluating the loss experience on existing items, monitor trends and communicate to the Risk team on a regular basis.
  • Track and update monthly and quarterly reports and provide feedback to the Risk team.
  • Prepare rate and coverage comparisons as needed.
  • Draft, maintain and update management parameters and distribute to affected teams.
  • Analyze data and organize or advise as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • A college degree is preferred.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with diligence.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
  • Vision acuity is required to include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to hear and talk, both in person and by phone.
  • Ability to grasp objects such as a telephone or computer mouse; finger dexterity to use a keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
