Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent organizational and leadership skills. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
• Supervise construction projects including planning for materials, coordinating with Owner, etc.
• Manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to business owner
• Supervise and direct other laborers
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
• Ability to withstand hard labor tasks and carry heavy materials
• Proficient in handling tools and machines commonly used in construction
• Perform carpentry, electrical work, plumbing and other specialized skills as required
• Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order
• Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications and skills

• High school diploma/GED or BA preferred
• 8-10 years experience in general construction including but not limited to flooring, framing, electrical, demolition, landscaping, etc.
• Ability to complete work on time and on budget with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Familiarity with construction industry best practices
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
• Management skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Advanced organizational skills
• Able to pass drug and background screening
